Background and Beginnings
I am Barnaby Chadwick, a male British voiceover artist. I fell in love with voice acting whilst studying BA Drama & Theatre Studies at the University of Kent. Performing is a part of my life that I am incredibly passionate about, and am grateful that I can call myself a professional voiceover artist.
I have been operating as a freelance voice over artist since 2015. My credits include work for notable clients including Adidas, Garmin, Caxton Foreign Exchange, the BBC, Lee Kum Kee Ltd, Cisco Computer Systems, FMP Global, and The International Coffee Organisation (I'm a big coffee fan!). These organisations have been represented by my voice, and hopefully it can represent your company as well.
I am versatile in what projects I can align myself with, and proven to be fitting for many types of work including (but not limited to) : Commercials, corporate presentations, IVR/telephone systems, audiobooks, video games, and mobile apps.
Vocal Physiology: My voice is bright, energetic, informative and friendly with a neutral English/RP accent. I've found that this has allowed me to be able to voice projects that require a light-hearted and friendly feel, whilst still being able to use an authoritative tone for projects that require a bit more gravitas, if it's needed.
Frequently Used Accents: RP*, Cockney, English-Standard, Essex, Estuary English, Heightened RP, Irish-Northern, London, Multicultural London English (MLE), Northern, Oxfordshire
Studio: I have a home studio set up that allows me to deliver quality recordings to clients fast, even as quickly as within 24 hours. However, if your needs go beyond my studio, I have working relationships with many recording studios throughout London. So I can ensure that your needs are always met at a reasonable cost.
